Alongside private practice, I provide confidential, time-limited support to organisations as an external consultant. This work focuses on early intervention and role-based support where stress, coping behaviours, or relational difficulties are beginning to affect functioning, performance, or decision-making.

 

The work is preventive, structured, and confidential, and is designed to complement, not replace, existing HR processes, management oversight, or EAP provision.

 

 

HOW THE WORK IS CONTRACTED

 

 

  • The organisation is the contracting party

  • The work is time-limited and clearly scoped

  • Sessions are confidential; no individual session content is shared

  • The focus is on assessment, stabilisation, and next steps

  • This is not therapy, not crisis support, and not an EAP

PACKAGE 1: EARLY INTERVENTION SUPPORT

 

For employees or managers

 

Format: Up to 3 sessions

Purpose: Prevent escalation

 

This package is suitable where an employee or manager is still functioning, but early signs of difficulty are emerging.

 

Typical referral situations include:

  • rising stress or emotional strain

  • reliance on coping behaviours affecting work

  • changes in behaviour, engagement, or performance

  • early relational or communication difficulties

  • concerns that are not disciplinary or clinical

 

The package includes:

  • up to three confidential 1:1 sessions

  • assessment and stabilisation

  • clarification of contributing factors

  • recommendations and onward signposting where appropriate

This package has a defined start and end. There is no automatic continuation.

PACKAGE 2: LEADERSHIP / DIRECTOR SUPPORT

 

For directors, senior leaders, or founders

 

Format: 6-session package

Purpose: Role-based and system-focused support

 

This package is designed for senior roles where pressure, responsibility, or leadership dynamics are affecting motivation, decision-making, or working relationships.

 

Typical areas of focus include:

  • role clarity and responsibility

  • working relationships within leadership or board structures

  • sustained pressure, motivation, and decision fatigue

  • managing expectations, boundaries, and authority

  • navigating conflict or complexity at senior level

The package includes:

  • six confidential 1:1 sessions

  • structured, consultant-led work

  • focus on role functioning within the organisation

  • clear boundaries and review points

​

This work remains time-limited and consultant-framed.

Any continuation beyond the agreed package is discussed and re-contracted.

REFERRALS & CONFIDENTIALITY

 

Referrals are typically made by HR or senior management, with the individual’s consent.

  • No session content is shared with the organisation

  • Feedback is limited to confirmation of attendance and completion

  • Any onward recommendations are discussed with the individual

​
