ABOUT
I am a qualified counsellor working with adults experiencing stress, anxiety, alcohol or substance use and coping behaviours that interfere with daily functioning and a sense of control.

People come to this work when they are managing externally but struggling internally, often under sustained pressure, responsibility or long standing habits that no longer feel effective.

I work independently in private practice and also provide confidential staff support to organisations.
PROFESSIONAL APPROACH
My work is structured, contained and collaborative.

I am not a silent observer. I am engaged, direct and present in the work. I bring compassion alongside challenge, and aim to support depth without therapy becoming vague or indefinite.

I place particular emphasis on:
-
Understanding behavioural and emotional patterns
-
Reducing shame around coping strategies
-
Setting boundaries and reclaiming space
-
Strengthening self-regulation and choice
-
Supporting realistic, lasting change
