Stress, burnout, emotional overload, many people reach a point where what once helped them cope starts to create new problems.
This is often the moment people reach out
I work with adults who are functioning on the outside but struggling internally. Often managing pressure, responsibility, anxiety, or reliance on coping behaviours that no longer feel sustainable.
My work is grounded, confidential and structured, with an emphasis on clarity, regulation and restoring choice.
HOW I WORK
I offer individual counselling for adults who want a contained, reflective space to understand underlying patterns and make realistic, lasting changes.

My work often involves:
-
Stress and burnout
-
Anxiety and emotional regulation
-
Low self-esteem or confidence
-
Alcohol or substance use and coping behaviours
-
Pressure, control and performance
-
Long-term patterns that feel difficult to interrupt

Where helpful, work may begin in agreed blocks of sessions to support focus and continuity.
Some clients complete their work within a defined period. Others continue longer-term in an open-ended way, with regular reviews.

This approach suits people who value clarity, commitment and a structured therapeutic relationship.
WORKING WITH ORGANISATIONS

Alongside private practice, I offer confidential, time limited staff support for organisations seeking early intervention around stress, coping behaviours, and performance-related wellbeing.

This is a case based external consultant service designed to complement existing HR processes and EAP provision.
FOCUSED COACHING

I also offer short-term, focused coaching for individuals who are not seeking therapy but want practical support around decision-making, boundaries or behaviour change.

This work is structured, time-limited and goal-focused. It does not involve emotional processing or therapeutic exploration.

Coaching is offered in defined blocks and may be appropriate where therapy is not indicated.
